  • Rock of Cashel

The historic Rock of Cashel is a two-hour drive from Dublin into County Tipperary. There you'll find a collection of medieval buildings on top of a limestone hill.

This is believed to be the place where St. Patrick converted the King of Munster in the 5th century. Remenants of the structures from the 12th and 13th centuries include a beautiful Romanesque chapel. Bring a camera to capture the scenery of sights such as the Hore Abbey as you travel the Dublin Road roundabout into town.
