Do your cars have winter tires in the winter?

Under the new Danish regulations, winter tires are required on vehicles from 1 November to 31 March when winter conditions such as snow, ice, slush, or frost are present. There is no fixed period during which winter tires must be fitted regardless of the weather – the requirement always depends on the actual road and weather conditions.

As the driver of the vehicle, you are responsible for assessing when winter tires are necessary. If winter tires are declined, the renter alone is responsible for any fines or penalties incurred for driving with unsuitable tires in winter conditions.

We offer winter tires for just DKK 75 per day, with a maximum charge of DKK 750 per rental period (up to 30 days), so you can drive safely and with peace of mind – whatever the weather may bring.

To ensure availability, we strongly recommend pre-booking winter tires. Winter tires must be requested during the online booking process, or you can contact us by phone at (+45) 70 70 1200, and we will make sure the vehicle is equipped and ready for winter conditions at pick-up.

When driving outside the country, please note that different regulations may apply. It is your responsibility as the renter to ensure that the vehicle complies with local legal requirements in the country you are travelling to.

Your safety and comfort are our highest priorities. If you have any questions or need further assistance, you are always welcome to contact us.
